Q. What is your vision for Stirling Townes?

Modern classic. Timeless architecture that exudes elegance and luxury.  Bringing something new to Ancaster that is old Ancaster.  Our vision is to bring something that feels like it belongs – like it was there from the beginning of Ancaster 200 years ago.   Ancaster has an amazing history and I wanted to reflect that in Stirling’s architecture – so everyone who lives in Ancaster can be proud of it.

Q. How does the design respond to its surroundings?  

We really wanted to keep the tradition of old Ancaster and its small town charm in our design, so we drew inspiration from the Old Town Hall. The intention is to make it feel as though the building has been there for years. With the round top windows, old stone look and chateaux feel, Stirling’s charm remains timeless.

Q. Can you tell us about some of the signature materials and features included in the townhomes?

We took the time to visualize what makes a house a home. The features are designed with purpose to ensure that residents can enjoy an elevated lifestyle.   The stone around the bottom is a nod to the traditional way of building and brings old Ancaster back to life.

Some details include the open concept main floor with chef’s kitchen, balcony off the primary bedroom, large windows throughout, the elevator, the ensuite bathrooms for all bedrooms and extended outdoor space (to name a few). I really wanted to take advantage of the beautiful lush green surrounding the property and make sure that the Stirling Townes benefits from as much of those views as possible.

Q. Do you have a favourite space or feature in Stirling Townes?   

The primary balcony. To sit in the morning and enjoy a cup of coffee, or in the evening for a night cap to watch the sunset, this space is going to define the home and be a favourite for many.

Q. How do you want residents to feel when they live in these homes?

First and foremost, at home.

To feel inspired by the luxury that surrounds them.  To feel tranquil and relaxed when winding down from each long day and motivated to host in their elegant, spacious kitchen when feeling social.  I want them when asked where they live while dining out in one of Ancaster’s fine restaurants to be proud when they say “The Stirling Townes”

Q. What do you love about the location of this project?

To have the best golf course in Canada, local shops and restaurants just steps away from your front door, the location is second to none.

The serene landscape that surrounds the property, including the quietness of the neighbouring cemetery and luscious trees that line the paths towards the walking trails.   This project could not be situated in a better spot deep in the heart of one of the oldest towns in all of Ontario.  We want to make Ancaster proud and celebrate this heritage town and its roots. We want residents to be proud of the architecture and history.
